Fitness for Everyone
Del Norte features a fitness center complete with the latest generation cardio and resistance equipment. We feature cardio machines including treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bikes, stair climbers, and a rowing ergometer. We recently renovated the fitness center and upgraded our resistance circuit with the latest selectorized equipment from Technogym. The free weight section includes many of the most popular free weight exercises in the industry.
Our fitness staff are required to maintain a nationally recognized certification, hold degrees in related disciplines, and are active in continuing education. Each has their own specialties and are available by appointment.
Fit For Life Program
Our professional staff will complete our complimentary fitness program with each member. The goal of Fit For Life is to guide the members through a custom designed workout out program. Program components include:

* First Workout
* Complimentary Personal Training Session
* Re-evaluation
Youth FFL
Designed for juniors ages 9-15, this program will teach the kids the proper techniques and etiquette to safely use the equipment in the fitness center. The class is three one-hour, group sessions with a personal trainer and is held monthly. Once completed, kids ages 9-11 may only use the fitness center with parental supervision at all times. Teens ages 12-15 can use the fitness center unsupervised.
Personal Training
More and more people are enlisting the help of professional, personal trainers to assist them in reaching their goals. Our staff of trainers meet strict guidelines for education and certification and are an excellent resource for the members. If you want to reach your ultimate fitness and health goals, our trainers can make it happen. They will provide you with the tools to reach your goals and maintain for long lasting results. Private training will be tailored to each member's needs including fitness instruction, measurements, and nutrition. Pilates
Pilates is a method of exercise and physical movement, based on the life's work of Joseph Pilates that is designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body. Pilates focuses on the core postural muscles, or "powerhouse", that helps keep the body balanced and are essential to providing support for the spine. Pilates draws from many diverse exercise styles, but is based on certain ideals or Pilates Principles: Centering, Concentration, Control, Precision, Breathing, and Flowing Movement. Pilates yields many benefits including better strength and flexibility, improved coordination, posture and balance correction, and improved body awareness.
Del Norte features three certified Pilates instructors who are specifically trained to teach members on the Pilates Reformer. The reformer is the main piece of equipment used in Pilates exercise. The reformer glides forward & backward on rollers and uses springs for resistance allowing for a variety of exercises and positions. Our private training studio provides a relaxing environment for training. We offer both private and group reformer training with specifically designed programs to fit individual needs.
